Share your ideas and suggestions to help us better understand what kind of place 590 Orrong Road should become.

We invite your feedback on what is most important to you about the project for the community:

  1. Height of buildings. We have reduced the height from 16 to 12 stories and relocated the taller buildings to the north east corner of the site.
  2. Visual appearance of the buildings. We have designed elegant and slender buildings for more natural light and to complement the quality and character of Armadale.
  3. Direct connections from Orrong Road to Toorak Station.
  4. Reduction in shadows. The overshadowing of Toorak Park and Victory Square in the winter months has been reduced. The proposed scheme will not create any shadows beyond the existing SKM building between the hours of 11.00am to 3.00pm and only minor shadows at 10am in the middle
    of winter.
  5. Reduction in building areas. We have reduced the building area to allow for more concentrated and better quality
    open spaces.
  6. Increased lighting on walk and bike paths for greater safety and security. We have introduced environmental saving lighting to improve community safety and security.
  7. New and improved access to nearby tram station and surrounding street network, especially Beattie Avenue. We have improved public access to the train station, tram line and Orrong Road through an enhanced design of the area.
  8. Lend Lease will undertake further community consultation with focus groups and one-on-one briefings to ensure the community continues to have ample opportunity to provide feedback on the redevelopment of 590 Orrong Road.
